Becoming a Seven Homes Volunteer

We warmly welcome you to become a volunteer and contribute to the well-being of our children. Watch the video below for an overview, and then follow the simple steps to begin your journey of making a difference in the lives of foster care children.

Step 1: Complete Application

Complete our volunteer application, a quick 5-10 minute process, by clicking the "Complete Application" button below. This application is to provide us with your contact information and a little bit about you and what volunteer activities interest you.

Step 2: Background Check and Confidentiality Agreement

Every volunteer that works with children is required to pass a free background check and sign our confidentiality agreement. You will receive an email from our staff the following business day after completing and application with an e-signature request to sign the forms.

Step 3: Phone Call

One of our staff members will give you a call to discuss upcoming opportunities and get to know you and your interests. 

Step 4: Email List

Once your paperwork is all returned, we will add you to our email list and you will receive opportunities to sign up for.  We will send an email out on the 2nd Monday of every month with the upcoming opportunities and if there are any urgent needs we will reach out.  If you have time to volunteer in the office please let us know, we are always needing help.
