Why This Night Matters
Because belonging deserves a celebration.
At Seven Homes, we believe that every child and family deserves to feel deeply seen, heard, and valued. Our annual gala isn't just an event—it's a movement of compassion and a celebration of belonging.
Your attendance and sponsorship help provide:
- Critical resources to support foster and adoptive families
- Training and services that nurture safe, lasting placements
- Community connections that remind children they are never alone
By joining us on December 4th, you’re not just attending a gala—you’re helping pave the way for children to feel like they truly belong.
Will There Be A Giving Moment
Yes, but with a meaningful twist.
Instead of a traditional live auction, we will host a giving moment focused on impact. Guests will be invited to raise their paddles to give directly toward a specific program that supports the children and families involved in the foster care system.
Each program will have a clear funding goal, and guests will have the opportunity to help meet those goals together. Some of these opportunities like putting in a playground, funding Summer Camps, Birthday Gifts and much more. We invite you to give with purpose and make a lasting difference where your heart it.
Belonging Starts with You
Every child deserves more than a place to stay—they deserve a place to belong.
For 30 years, Seven Homes has worked to create safe, loving, and nurturing homes where children can heal, grow, and thrive. Through the dedication of foster families, volunteers, donors, and community partners, countless children have experienced the life-changing power of belonging.
A Night of Belonging is a celebration of that shared impact. It is an evening to honor the families who open their hearts, the supporters who make the mission possible, and the children whose lives are transformed through connection, compassion, and hope.
As we celebrate 30 years of ministry and service across North Carolina, we invite you to reflect on what is possible when a community comes together around a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to know they belong.
We are honored to welcome Ken Maxwell, Founder and Executive Director of Seven Homes, who will share the vision that has guided this ministry for three decades and the hope that continues to inspire its future.
Joining him is Amber Saunders, whose personal experiences and perspective will offer a moving reflection on the power of faith, family, and belonging. Together, Ken and Amber will share stories of hope, resilience, and the profound difference that caring people can make in the lives of children and families.
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we show how belonging starts with you.
