Life Raft Conference 2026

Where Foster & Adoptive Parents, Teachers, Ministry Leaders and Social Workers come together to learn how to support vulnerable children in our community.

This Year's Theme: The Road to Healing

No matter where a child is on their journey, healing is possible and they do not have to walk that road alone.

Join us as we learn how to walk beside them with compassion and purpose. Be strengthened and equipped to support a child’s path toward healing, while being reminded that every step forward can lead to belonging, hope, and a brighter future.

What Is Life Raft?

Life Raft is a powerful, all-day training conference designed to equip and empower caregivers, educators, and professionals with the principles and strategies of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).

This event will provide practical tools that promote healing and connection for children who have experienced trauma, loss, or separation.

Through engaging speakers, hands-on learning, and real-world applications, attendees leave with a renewed sense of confidence and competence in their caregiving approach and how to assist children in the classroom.

Foster parents who attend can also earn 6 hours of training credit applicable toward their licensing requirements.

This is more than a training—it's a lifeline.

Who is Life Raft For?

The tools taught at Life Raft are relevant for anyone who interacts with children, especially those who have experienced adversity.

This includes:

  • Foster and adoptive parents
  • Kinship caregivers
  • Teachers and school staff
  • Social workers and counselors
  • Church and ministry leaders
  • Community volunteers

Whether you're navigating the challenges of parenting or working with children in a professional capacity, Life Raft offers insight and strategies that make a difference. The conference is open to the entire community—because every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
